This scholarship was established to honor Joseph Edwards by his friends and family. Joseph received a Bachelor of Music Education degree at Youngstown State University where he started as a faculty member of the Dana School of Music in 1969 and ultimately became Dean of the College of Creative Arts and Communication, retiring in 2009. Students applying for this scholarship must be enrolled in the Dana School of Music, attending full-time with a minimum 2.5 GPA. FAFSA form must be completed. Financial need will be a consideration.
