The
Youngstown State University Sacred Landmarks Program is dedicated
to serving as a regional resource for the research and documentation
of the architecture,
history, institutional memory, aesthetic features and current
uses of sacred landmarks in the region. In addition, it
serves as a catalyst for these structures' and sites' preservation, responsible
stewardship and active community involvement in neighborhood
revitalization. Another area of our concentration is to assist
in their role as community centers for the delivery of health
and human services, the arts, and education. |
