The Office of Development kicked off the 2009–10 Annual Fund campaign with a series of 11 Pie and Coffee receptions across campus. More than 1,000 slices of pie were served, with the most popular being cherry, apple (sugar free) and coconut creme.

Over the past five years, the Annual Fund has raised more than $3.9 million for scholarships, department programs and initiatives and the YSU Foundation. The faculty and staff campaign usually accounts for about 10 percent of the total Annual Fund dollars raised each year.

Employees can make a gift to the Annual Fund at any time during the year through payroll deduction, online at www.ysu.edu/givetoysu or in person at the development office in Tod Hall. Gifts are 100 percent tax deductible and can be designated to any department, program, college or scholarship fund on campus.
