Hogue Family Writing Scholarship
The Hogue Family Writing Scholarship is awarded to a current or incoming student who shows promise in professional writing and editing, journalism, or creative writing. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required. Applications must be received by February 15. Application requires an essay of 250 words or less to be written describing why he or she should be chosen as the recipient. Applicants should also submit samples of articles or other works, especially those that have been published. The recipient is chosen by the English department at Youngstown State University.
