Penny Laakso Pavelko Math Education Scholarship
Penny, a graduate of Youngstown State University and a proud recipient of scholarships herself, established this scholarship to assist those students studying to become mathematics teachers. Students applying must have completed 32 semester hours, be of sophomore status or higher, with a minimum 2.85 GPA, and have successfully completed Calculus I. First preference given to students from Columbiana County, then Mahoning County, then to all other Ohio residents. FAFSA form must be completed.
