Michael C. Conglose Sr. Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2011 in honor of Michael C. Conglose, Sr. to assist YSU students majoring in Economics or Business. Michael C. Conglose, Sr. received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from YSU in 1954 after serving his country during WWII, while working and raising a family. In 2011, at the age of 91, Mr. Conglose was able to recall much of what he learned at YSU, and the importance of transferring knowledge to others. Applicants must be an undergraduate student, either full-time or part-time, studying Economics or Business with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a consideration, and FAFSA must be complete. Preference will be given to applicants of Italian descent and who are from the Shenango or Mahoning Valley.
