D. Jeane Merola Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2015 by her husband, Vince, this scholarship is awarded annually to recognize students majoring in business. Mr. and Mrs. Merola were originally from the Valley. Mr. Merola is a business graduate of Youngstown State University. Mrs. Merola enjoyed traveling (seashore and cruises) and was passionate about being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Applicants must be full time, have a minimum 2.7 GPA, and a FAFSA completed. Financial need is not a requirement, but is a consideration. Preference will be given to Italian American students.
