Chaney Cowboys of 1969 Memorial Scholarship
Chaney High School Class of 1969, on the occasion of the class' 45th reunion, established this scholarship to honor deceased members of the Class of 1969. The scholarship will support future Chaney High School students who matriculate to Youngstown State University and pursue a bachelor's degree. Requirements include: Have attended and graduated from Youngstown Chaney High School; Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale; Attend YSU full-time to earn a four-year degree; Demonstrate financial need; FAFSA form must be completed; Be given preference if, in addition to meeting the above cited requirements, have demonstrated engagement in the Youngstown West Side community through community service.
