Dr. Jack D. Bakos Scholarship in Civil (Structural) Engineering
This endowment was established in 2012 by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Napolitan Jr. to recognize Dr. Jack D. Bakos, Jr. for his hard work, commitment, and significant contributions during his 36 years of service in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering as a professor, department chair, and advisor to the student chapter of ASCE. Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior student, enrolled full-time in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with preference given to those majoring in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
