PortalStruthers VFW Post 3538 ROTC Legacy Scholarship with VFW Posts 93, 7538, 7600, and 8841
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3538 established this scholarship in 2024 to preserve the memory of American military members and veterans from Struthers, Ohio and throughout Mahoning County. Post 3538 survives as a merger of five VFW posts. This scholarship also honors the legacy of former Posts 93, 7538, 7600, and 8841. Eligible recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled in the ROTC program, be U.S. citizen, with a minimum 2.7 GPA and be a sophomore or higher in class standing. Preference will be given to a student who graduated from Stuthers, Poland, or Lowellville High School.
