Meaghan Galloway Study Abroad Anthropology Scholarship

This endowment was established in 2017 in memory of YSU alum Meaghan Galloway by her family, friend and former professor, Matt O’Mansky. Meaghan was an Anthropology major who participated in a YSU archaeology field program in Guatemala in 2007. Meaghan loved the subject matter of anthropology – people and cultures – and she shared this passion with those around her. This scholarship will allow additional YSU students to follow in Meaghan’s footsteps. This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate level students enrolled full or part-time, with a preference to students majoring in anthropology with a minimum 2.5 GPA. If there are no eligible anthropology students, then the scholarship can be awarded to a student enrolled in any major, this student must meet all other criteria as well.
