Steel Equipment Specialists, LLC Scholarship in Engineering
This scholarship was established in 2023 by Richard C. Retort, CEO of Steel Equipment Specialists, LLC (SES, LLC) to reward the accomplishments of students in the engineering fields. Many of the team members of SES, LLC earned various degrees from YSU and appreciate the importance of relationships with the University and the students. This scholarship is for a full-time undergraduate majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum 3.5 GPA and a completed FAFSA. Student(s) must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to graduates of high schools in Mahoning (OH), Trumbull (OH), Columbiana (OH), Stark (OH), Mercer (PA), or Lawrence (PA) counties.
