McCullough Williams Jr. Scholarship


This scholarship was established in honor of Mr. McCullough Williams Jr., when he received Youngstown State University's Distinguished Citizen Award in August 2002. Throughout his distinguished career as an entrepreneur, Mr. Williams has also been in the forefront of the African American community at the local and state levels and has dedicated his energy and considerable political skills to improving life for black citizens of the Youngstown-Warren area. This scholarship is for an African American male majoring in Education with a minimum 3.0 GPA. This student(s) must also be a resident from the five county areas of Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull Counties in Ohio and Lawrence and Mercer Counties in Pennsylvania.
