Kenneth & Kathleen Dimoff Veterans Scholarship
This endowment was established by Kenneth & Kathleen Dimoff to provide scholarships for deserving veteran students, or their dependents. Ken attended YSU for two years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He was highly regarded by superiors and peers alike. His career took him from Texas to Viet Nam to Dayton. During this time, he was selected to serve as a member of the Honor Guard, escorting many dignitaries including President Lyndon Johnson and Neil Armstrong, the first astronaut to walk on the moon. It was his honor to have served our country. Kathy graduated from YSU and enjoyed working in the Youngstown area her entire career. Ken and Kathy were proud to do volunteer work in the Youngstown Community all their lives and are extremely honored to continue to give back through this scholarship. This scholarship is for an honorably discharged veteran or the son or daughter of an honorably discharged veteran. Student(s) can be enrolled full or part-time, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and a completed FAFSA.
