Paul J. Williams Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2023 by Scott Schulick, in honor of long-time YSU Foundation Trustee Paul J. Williams. It is hoped to help provide the financial resources to a student who otherwise might not have the ability to enroll at YSU. Although he did not graduate from YSU, Paul was an ardent supporter of YSU and the YSU Foundation. Upon graduation from Westminster College, Paul served in the U.S. Army. His entire professional career was in the financial services industry. He was appointed to the YSU Foundation Board of Trustees in 1974 and served for 45 years. Paul also served on the Board of the YSU Penguin Club. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must be an incoming freshman from Poland Seminary High School and have at least a 2.5 GPA.
