James William Adams Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 by Ann and Peter Way in honor of Ann’s brother James William Adams. Jim started his healthcare career as an orderly at Northside Hospital. Later, he received a nursing degree from YSU and went on to work in both hospital and private duty nursing. This scholarship is intended to assist individuals who want to help others through nursing as Jim did for many years. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Nursing, with at least a 3.0 GPA and a completed FAFSA demonstrating need. Full-time and part-time students will both be considered.
