James B. Braydich Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of James B. Braydich by family and friends in 2020. Jim was the owner of Excel Dental Lab. He helped dentists deliver quality care to patients across NE Ohio and Western PA. He believed everyone should be given a chance to pursue their dreams and excel. He valued education greatly and is remembered for his kindness, quick wit, and willingness to help others. This scholarship honors that spirit by being awarded to a student enrolled in an Education (teaching) program or the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a completed FAFSA. Financial need is a requirement. Preference will be given to graduates of a Youngstown City School in Youngstown, OH; if this is not an option then preference will then be given to a graduate of a Mahoning County (OH) high school.
