Don and Jodi Clowes Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2019 by Don and Jodi Clowes. This scholarship is a “thank you” to Dr. Howard Jones, YSU’s first president, who gave Jodi a scholarship when she was 18 and couldn’t afford to attend YSU without it, even though she was working two jobs at the time. Don and Jodi both worked full-time the entire time they went to YSU, and both earned associate and bachelor’s degrees. They now wish to help students who may be struggling while working and going to school. An eligible student for this scholarship can be enrolled full or part-time, and pursuing an undergraduate degree while maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to students who are U.S. citizens, and students who are employed either full or part-time while going to school.
