Gus Giannios Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 by the family and friends of Gus Giannios, who was the co-owner of Giannios Candy Company. Gus ran several local businesses and specialized in catering and hosting large events. He was recognized as the Small Businessperson of the Year in 1988 by the Youngstown Chamber of Commerce. It is hoped that the recipient of this scholarship will go on to love the art of taking care of others and the community as much as Gus did. To be eligible for this scholarship, student must be an undergraduate majoring in Hospitality Management, with a completed FAFSA demonstrating need. Preference will be given to students from Mahoning County.
