Gus Giannios Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 by the family and friends of Gus Giannios who was a co-owner of the Giannios Candy Company, ran several local small businesses, and specialized in catering and hosting large events. Mr. Giannios was the Small Businessperson of the Year in 1988 by the Youngstown Chamber of Commerce. It is hoped that the recipient of this scholarship will go on to love the "art" of taking care of others and the community as much as Gus did. This scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student majoring in dietetics with demonstrated financial need through the completion of the FAFSA. Preference will be given to students from Mahoning County.
