Mary Angela Miller Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2022 by Mary Angela Miller. Mary Angela was a 1978 YSU graduate and University Valedictorian. She went on to a successful career at the Cleveland Clinic and the Ohio State University as a registered dietitian and food service director, hospital administrator and adjunct professor. She is grateful to the YSU Foundation for the scholarship support she received as a student and recognizes how essential it was to her receiving her degree. She is proud to have been born and raised in Youngstown and to have been honored as a recipient of the Human Ecology 2011 Alumni of the Year in the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Junior or Senior Dietetics major with at least a 3.0 GPA and a completed FAFSA. If no student from Dietetics is eligible, second consideration will be given to Hospitality Management or Respiratory Therapy majors.
