Delores “Smokey” Crisucci Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 to honor the memory of Delores “Smokey” Crisucci. Smokey was the first in her family to attend college. She graduated from Youngstown College in 1958 with her bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. Smokey began teaching in 1958 at Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio and retired from teaching and coaching at Arlington High School in California in 1990. She was instrumental in the establishment of equal opportunity for female athletes, and she had an incredible impact on every life she touched. To be eligible for this scholarship, student must be attending full time, majoring in Health and Physical Education, with at least a 2.5 GPA.
