Timothy and Barbara Carney Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2022 by Timothy and Barbara Carney. Timothy is a 1975 YSU Alumni with a BA degree in economics, and also obtained his MBA in Accounting from YSU in 1978. He later became a Certified Public Accountant. While at YSU, he was active in Greek life and served as the President of Sigma Phil Epsilon. During his business career, Tim was President of Cuno Incorporated, a global filtration company, and was also Vice-President of 3M Company. Barbara graduated from Youngstown State University with her BA degree in psychology. She went on to work in the IT field, and also in real estate. To be eligible for this scholarship, student must be pursuing their undergraduate degree, enrolled full time and be maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA.
