Gamanlal "Gary" Patel Scholarship in Engineering
This scholarship was established in 2020 by Gamanlal "Gary" Patel. Gary earned a Master of Science from Youngstown State University in 1971. Gary started his first job with Aeroquip Corporation in Youngstown and then moved to Goodrich Tire Company in Green Camp, Ohio. Gary's degree in Electrical Engineering from YSU allowed him to earn U.S. citizenship. This was a great achievement for him. Gary thanks YSU for all these achievements. An eligible student for this scholarship must be an undergraduate student, enrolled full-time with a minimum 2.75 GPA who is majoring in engineering. Preference will be given to electrical engineering majors.
