Andrea Wood Business Journal Scholarship
This endowment was established by The Business Journal to encourage students who major or minor in journalism at Youngstown State University to acquire knowledge well beyond the mechanics and techniques of news writing and editing. Their desire is for undergraduates to enter the field with a grasp of liberal arts and social sciences. Such a grasp is the foundation of writing knowledgeably about current events and the arts. An eligible student(s) for this scholarship must be majoring or minoring in journalism, classified as a junior or senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to a student(s) who writes or has written for The Jambar with some degree of frequency. Preference will be given to students who show an interest in the liberal arts and social sciences and/or business administration through their elective course work. Completed FAFSA is required.
