Sam B. Biasucci and Joan E. Biasucci Scholarship
The Sam B. Biasucci and Joan E. Biasucci Scholarship was established in 2019 to provide financial assistance to Youngstown State University students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field of Business. Sam worked for First National Bank for 35 years as an Executive Officer. Joan was a second-grade teacher at New Castle Schools for 43 years. Sam served our country as a member of the United States Army for six years before completing his degree from YSU in 1974.
Sam and Joan give to numerous causes and are proud to establish this scholarship to help students obtain their degree from the Williamson College of Business Administration. An eligible student(s) for this scholarship must be an Accounting major enrolled in the Williamson College of Business Administration, entering their sophomore year with a minimum 2.8 GPA. A student involved in community service and/or volunteerism is preferred. Preference will be given to students taking night courses while maintaining full-time status. Preference will be given to students from Lawrence County, PA who graduated from Shenango High School or New Castle High School.
