Gregory L. and Nancy A. Ridler Endowed Scholarship
This endowment was established in 2019 by Gregory L. and Nancy A. Ridler, who spent their entire working careers living in Poland, Ohio and adopted the "Y-town is my town"mantra. They wanted to provide scholarships for deserving students in the STEM College, paying homage to the industrial heritage of the region and its hardworking, dedicated labor force. Over the years Greg and Nancy have developed a genuine appreciation for YSU and its significant contribution to the fiber of the Mahoning Valley. Their fondness of the University and the people of the community provided their incentive to give back by paying it forward. An eligible student(s) for this scholarship must be enrolled full time as an undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior, with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference to graduates of Poland Seminary High School, then to students from Mahoning, Trumbull, and/or Columbiana county. Preference to a student enrolled in the College of STEM.
