Recipes of Youngstown Veterans Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2017 by the Recipes of Youngstown members and the Mahoning Valley Historical Society to support YSU's Armed Forces Student Association members by establishing a permanent endowment fund for scholarships to support veterans attending Youngstown State University. An eligible student for this scholarship is a Military Service Veteran who was honorably discharged or received a general discharge that is the result of an injury or illness. Open to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and the Coast Guard, including service in the National Guard and Reserve. For undergraduate students, sophomore standing or higher (preference to junior and senior students). Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
