James W. Degarmo Criminal Justice Scholarship
James W. Degarmo Criminal Justice Scholarship was established in 1976 by the Law Enforcement Honor Society of the Department of Criminal Justice of YSU. Its purpose is to give recognition to the contributions of James W. Degarmo to the profession of law enforcement and criminal justice education. Upper-class students evidencing outstanding scholastic performance in criminal justice studies are eligible for this award. Students who are studying corrections are exempt unless they are also studying another area of Criminal Justice.
