Dr. John N. Cernica Memorial Endowment
John N. Cernica, Ph.D., PE, an internationally respected Civil Engineer known for excellence, dependability, superior skill sets and love for the teaching profession always wanted his students to emulate his passions for science and creativity. It is the desire of the Cernica family to recognize and support, by this endowment, students who have similar characteristics and goals to improve humanity through science and engineering. An eligible student for this scholarship must be an undergraduate student majoring in civil engineering, sophomore class standing or higher within the civil engineering curriculum, must be a US citizen, attending full or part-time, with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
