Marjorie A. Morley Scholarship in Nursing
Marjorie A. Morley graduated from Boardman High School in Boardman, Ohio. She furthered her education at Youngstown State University and received an associate degree in applied science in 1969. She is one of YSU's first nursing graduates. Ms. Morley received a Bachelor of Science degree in community health education from Long Beach State in 1983. Ms. Morley has 43 years of experience in hospital nursing. Most recently, Ms. Morley is serving as a consultant for Precise Care in Newport Beach, California. An eligible student for this scholarship must be a junior or senior, enrolled at YSU full-time, pursuing a degree in Nursing. The student(s) must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be a graduate from a high school in Mahoning County (OH). Completed FAFSA is required, students must demonstrate financial need.
