HEERF III Grant Application

YSU has received funding from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA). "The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) III was established to provide grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus."

The HEERF III application was created by the University to prioritize the release of grant funds to students with exceptional financial need as required (Pell grant recipients) and students who experienced expenses for any component of cost of attendance such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental) and childcare since the COVID-19 pandemic created financial challenges and disrupted learning.

Those conditions require YSU enrollment on or after March 13, 2020 of Spring semester 2020, or enrollment on the 14th day of either Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Summer 2021, or Fall 2021 (includes online students).
