The YSU Foundation, with an endowment of over $125 million, is committed to providing this "edge of excellence" for the University and the students it serves.  The Foundation, whose sole purpose is to benefit Youngstown State University, provides more than $4 million in scholarship assistance annually for its students.  You must submit the YSU Undergraduate Admission Application (with transcripts) by February 15 to be considered for scholarships through the Scholarship for Excellence Program at Youngstown State University.  With the exception of the University Scholars Application, there are no other application forms needed for YSU's Scholarships for Excellence.  Students cannot be awarded more than one scholarship through the Scholarships for Excellence program.

1. Complete the admissions process by the February 15 deadline (new students). 2. Complete the online Institutional Aid Application by February 15. 3. Search the YSU Scholarship search for miscellaneous scholarships.  New High School Graduates   University Scholars (Full-cost scholarship) $12,500 (est)   Trustees' Scholarships $4,500   President's Scholarships $2,500   Deans' Scholarships $2,000   Red and White Scholarships $1,500 Transfer Students   Transfer Student Scholarships $1,500 or $1,000   YSU Advantage Scholarship $1,100 Current YSU Students   Academic Achievement Award $500   Miscellaneous Scholarships Varies
