Loan History

Students who have received student loans through Youngstown State or other institutions can check their complete loan history using the NSLDS (National Student Loan Data System) web site.

National Student Loan Data System

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's central database for student aid.  It receives data from schools, agencies that guaranty loans, the Direct Loan program, the Pell Grant program, and other U.S. Department of Education programs.  NSLDS provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and Pell grants that are tracked through their entire cycle; from aid approval through closure.

To view your loan history you will be asked for the following information:

  1. Social Security Number
  2. First 2 digits of your last name
  3. Your Date of Birth
  4. Federal PIN Number

If you do not have a Federal PIN number (FAFSA PIN) or have forgotten your Federal PIN number click here to request a new pin.  You cannot access your student loan history without a Federal PIN number.
