The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to quality service to students and their families.  The Office’s primary responsibility is to assist students in pursing their higher education goals at Youngstown State University by providing the necessary resources and information to fill the financial gap that may exist between the cost of education and the money available from the students’ families, jobs, and savings.  We welcome your questions.  Please contact us; our information and hours are listed below.

* Financial Aid Counselors are available Monday through Friday usually between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  To set up an appointment, call 330-941-3506.  If you are unable to meet at these times, you may ask to speak with a counselor to make special arrangements that will accommodate your schedule.

** Four computer workstations are available, whenever the office is open, for students to complete their FAFSA and other online requirements.  Counselors and staff are close at hand should any assistance be required.

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is open 8am - 5pm over academic breaks.
