All of the numbers listed in this book can be dialed from campus phones.  When calling from off campus, use the prefix (330) 941-, then the four digit extension number.  Note, however, that extension numbers beginning with 73- or 5- cannot be dialed directly from off campus. 

A University switchboard operator is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist callers with contacting university departments and services.  The switchboard can be reached from on-campus at x0 and off-campus at 330-941-3000.  For best results in correctly directing your calls, please provide the switchboard operator with as much information as possible.  Departments can help the switchboard better direct incoming calls to their areas by providing updates on any changes in staffing and services.

For campus telephone assistance, such as help in making international calls, please call the telephone operator at x0.  For information on other services available, such as conference calling and updating departmental contact information, please contact the Network & Telephone Services office at x7199.

The MyYSU portal (LDAP Directory) provides both a search component for Faculty-Staff email addresses plus a Web mail interface for sending email. (Note: MyYSU is currently limited to faculty, staff, and students of Youngstown State University)
